Everything hosts ask us before they book — cost, insurance, who buys the alcohol, how much to buy and what happens on the day. No sales pitch, just the answers.

What you get, what it runs, and how far ahead to ask.
A complete bar, staffed and stocked with everything except the alcohol. Every package arrives with:
You buy the alcohol. We bring the rest and run the bar.
Packages start at the prices listed on the packages section of the homepage, and each of those numbers is tied to a specific guest count and number of service hours rather than being a flat rate. Guest count, how long the bar is open, how many bartenders you need, a second bar station and travel beyond our core area all move the figure.
Right now our Holiday Season Booking Special takes 20% off every package for events through December 31 that are reserved by November 16, so the starting numbers you see are already reduced. The fastest way to a real number is the quote form — we come back with the math shown, not a range.
If you already have a bar and only need someone behind it, bartender-only bookings typically land between $45 and $65 per bartender, per hour with a four-hour minimum, plus travel.
Two to six months out is typical. Weddings and December dates go first, so if you have a Saturday in peak season in mind, earlier is better.
Last-minute asks are always worth sending. If we’re free we’ll say so, and if your date is already booked you’ll hear that immediately rather than wait on it.
Middle Tennessee — Nashville, Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, Spring Hill, Columbia, Clarksville and everywhere in between.
Farther out is usually still a yes with travel added to the quote. Send the venue address and we’ll tell you where it lands.
Packages are quoted around the service window you need, and each package card lists the hours its starting price is based on. Bartender-only bookings carry a four-hour minimum.
Very short events are still worth asking about — tell us the window and we’ll quote it honestly rather than pad it.
No, and we never will. You’re hiring a bar team, not buying drinks, so there’s no tab, no per-drink markup and no surprise total at the end of the night. Your quote is the price.
The part that confuses everyone, cleared up.
Because buying it yourself is cheaper for you. You pay retail rather than bar markup, you own everything that gets poured, and every unopened bottle is still yours when the night ends. A bar service that supplies alcohol has to price that risk and that markup into your quote — we simply don’t have to.
We do the hard part of it for you: you’ll get an exact shopping list for your guest count so nothing gets over-bought.
Run your numbers through our drink calculator — enter your guest count, how long the bar is open and what you want served, and it gives you bottle counts for liquor, wine, beer and bubbles, plus how much ice to grab.
It’s the same list we build for clients, and it’s free whether you book us or not. If you do book, we’ll refine it around your final headcount and menu.
Buying slightly over is the right call, because unopened bottles are yours to keep. Most retailers in Tennessee won’t take alcohol back once it leaves the store, so treat the surplus as your bar cart for the next year rather than a loss.
Running short is the outcome worth avoiding, which is exactly why we build the list before you shop.
That’s the fun part. There are nine cocktail styles to start from — anything from Southern Sip to Espresso After Dark to a Luxury Lounge build — and any of them drops into any package. Mix two if your crowd can’t agree.
If you have a family recipe, a drink from your first date, a color palette or a theme nobody has tried, tell us on the quote form. Custom builds are our favorite bookings.
Yes. Zero Proof is a full package on its own — a real craft menu with nothing alcoholic in it — and it also pairs with any other package as a second menu so guests who aren’t drinking get something better than soda.
Every package includes zero-proof options as standard, not as an afterthought.
All of it. Ice, sodas, tonics, fresh juices, fruit, herbs, specialty rims and either glassware or quality disposables, depending on the setup you want. If it isn’t alcohol, it’s on us.
What we need from you, and what you can forget about.
Somewhere roughly the footprint of the bar to set up, and a way to get our gear in and out. We arrive early enough to build the bar before guests do, and the space is clean when we leave.
If your venue has requirements — insurance paperwork, load-in windows, approved vendor lists, power or water access — send them over and we’ll sort them out directly with the venue before you book.
Yes — that’s bartender for hire. We step into the setup you already have, work with the tools, coolers, ice and glassware on hand, bring our own kit if yours is light, and run it like it’s ours for the night. Setup, pouring, hospitality, restocking and breakdown included.
Yes. Our Zero Proof bar is a complete craft menu with no alcohol in it at all, which makes it a straightforward fit for venues, schools, churches and corporate campuses that don’t allow alcohol on site.
Carefully, and without making a scene. Our bartenders card guests, pace service and will decline a pour when it’s the right call. It’s part of running a bar responsibly, and it protects you as the host as much as it protects your guests.
We work outdoors regularly — backyards, farms, rooftops and tents. Tell us the setup when you inquire and we’ll talk through shade, cover and a wet-weather plan as part of the service plan, so the decision isn’t being made an hour before guests arrive.
Insurance, holding your date and the legal shape of what we do.
Yes. We’re licensed and insured, and we’ll send a certificate of insurance straight to your venue whenever they ask for one — most venues do, and it’s usually the first thing they want before they’ll let a bar in the door.
Just tell us who to send it to and we’ll handle that conversation for you.
No. We provide bartending and bar services only. All alcohol is purchased and owned by you or your venue — we don’t sell, resell or furnish alcoholic beverages, and nothing about our service is a sale of alcohol to you or to your guests.
Bar service is always subject to applicable Tennessee law, licensing and your venue’s own requirements. If your venue tells you they need something specific from a bar vendor, forward it to us and we’ll confirm what we can cover before you commit.
A signed agreement and a deposit hold it. The balance is due before the event, and the specifics — amounts, timing and what happens if plans change — are spelled out in the agreement so nothing is left to memory.
Never required, always appreciated. Some hosts add gratuity to the balance, others prefer a tip jar on the bar, and some skip it entirely — all three are fine. Tell us which you’d rather do and we’ll set the bar up accordingly.
Within one business day, usually much sooner. If your event is soon, or you’d rather sort the details out loud, call 310-489-1995 or send a text — it’s often faster than typing.
Send your date and we’ll answer it along with your quote — or just check whether we’re free.
